The Lord of the Rings Online is an MMORPG developed by Turbine, Inc. ###Plot The events of the game take place at the same time as the original novels. Time flows differently in each region of Middle-earth, but it does not differ much. Each story arc resembles a different part of the plot and is distributed as DLC. In the first part, the players have to fight a fake king of Angmar. After that, the players set out to help the gnomes with freeing Moria from the Darkness. In the King's Allies add-on, the player goes south with Aragorn.
